What an exhilarating week it has been at 10th Planet Van Nuys! Our young warriors have been train really hard consistently for the past few months. Along with every action comes a consequence, and in this case all the hard work our little warriors have been enduring, the consequences were phenomenal. Back in March, Ayden Traboulsi became our very first kids grey belt ever at 10th Planet Van Nuys. This week two new young warriors have earned the spot of grey belt, Christian Madamba  and Alfredo Santos. All three students work constantly on the mat to keep improving. Ayden and Christian not only come to class three times a week but also get together outside of class to work on moves or play UFC video games to familiarize with the jiu jitsu terminology. Every seminar that takes place at the gym you are sure to find these two paired up together paying close attention and drilling techniques.  They’re both also active competitors not just on the mats but at heart. Alfredo Santos is also extremely diligent on the mats. He shows up to class always ready to work with a smile on his face. Aside from having a very slick and fashionable haircut, Alfredo is very respectful to all the instructors and his teammates. Is great positive attitude is what makes him keep improving. At the end of the day though, it doesn’t matter what color belt you have, every individual who practices the art becomes a representative of the sport. As a representative of the sport and our school, it’s our duty to show a good example and carry ourselves in a respectable way. These three young warriors are proving that every time they step on and off the mat. We couldn’t be any more prouder of them. Congratulations once again Alfredo, Christian and Ayden, keep up the amazing work!
